Acrylic Painting Class
Tuesday afternoons for ages 7-14.
Session 1 begins September 21.
Students will learn classical painting concepts such as value, color theory, and composition. They will be exposed to the work of many master artists as examples of the skills they are learning. While new skills and materials are introduced and practiced, students are encouraged to choose their own subject matter and to complete projects at their own pace.
My classes are designed to teach specific skills and to give freedom of expression. I foster a warm and supportive atmosphere in the studio, encouraging students to take risks and try new things.
